33cl can, thx Vastactiv. Canned 11/20. Poured near black with a thin brown head. Peat is strong, roasted and malty, some wood. Medicinal notes, fairly dry even. Bit of burn in finish.

Can. Black pour. Aroma of bitter dark chocolate, smoke, peat, licorice, coffee and malt. Taste has bitter dark chocolate, roasted malt, licorice, smoke, bitter peat, burned caramel, coffee and still juniper. The addition of peat is a good idea, but something feels off, like this has been overcooked and turned charred.

0.33 l can from a trade with markoijelena (thank you, Marko!), canned in November 2020. Black with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, beige head. Sweetish-malty, gently smoky aroma of dark chocolate, coffee, peat and a touch of wood. Rather sweet, malty, quite roasty and quite smoky taste of dark chocolate, coffee, peat, licorice and hints of wood, followed by a medium long, gently roasty-bitter, quite smoky and even a little fruity-resiny finish. Full body, smooth and creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Interesting one, rather quaffable for such a high abv. Not as peaty as expected, less medicinal than Stouts aged in Islay Whisky Casks. Feels a little disharmonious but it's a treat nevertheless.

Can. Black. Strong urine smell, hint of peat and roast in the aroma. Roast, lots of peat in the sweet flavor. The sweetness is challenged by the peat and the alcohol. Hint of coffee. Weird but quite special.
