Bottle at M&S. Very nice flowery aroma with a touch of fruits. Clear golden colour, white head. Taste has moderate to high bitterness, mostly hops flavour, flowery, grapefruit. Sessionable. I like it very much.

500ml bottle from M&S. Pours clear gold, no real head. Aromas are citrus and honey, light spicy hops. Taste brings more hop bitterness, and a light caramel sweetness. Medium body, bitter finish. Nice.

Bottle from M&S, Den Haag. Poured a clear light amber with a thin white head. The aroma is hop light citrus. The flavour is medium to light bitter with a hop light malt yeast citrus palate and a short bitter finish. Nice enough but needs more hops.

Bottle from the M&S at Waterloo station near platforms 16-19 to be fucking specific, drank on the train home from a paper cup, cheers to JF 12/11/13. Golden amber with a moderate off white covering. Nose is orange, hop notes, caramel, grass, light grapefruit. Taste comprises bitter orange, toasted malts, light tropicals. Medium bodied, moderate carbonaton with a little spritz, dry grassy finale with a sprinkle of hop bitterness. Decent enough GB affair.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Beer Market Jaffa. Thanks tomer. Clear golden with a frothy white head. Aroma of earthy and floral hops, a bit citric, with light maltiness, minerally notes and light fruitiness. Flavor has light malty sweetness and earthy and slightly citric hops with decent bitterness. Medium-bodied.

Flaska inköpt i Cardiff. Sur doft med inslag av bröd. Lika sur-besk i smaken. Intetsägande och tråkig ale som inte lämnar några bestående minnen.

50cl Bottle from M&S A’dam. Clear golden orange colour, white head. Aroma is quite pungent and hoppy, citrus, cat piss, hint of mint, still all typical Golden Ale style so not very nice imho, grainy. Flavour is light-sweet, grainy, citrus, slight cloying fruitiness, decent bitter finish. Light-bodied, a tiny bit fizzy. OK.

Same bottle conditioned 500ml bottle as everyone else: obtained in Marks & Spencers, just like everyone else. BBD End of Jul 2014, poured into a UK pint sleeve on 6 Sep 2013. Looked the part, good clean deep amber body with a full rich head. Malty for a true IPA, in both the aroma and taste: more like a UK Bitter to me. Easy to drink and a pleasant blend of flavours, strange how the malts lead the way though. Body depth about right for the alcohol and flavour levels: very good for a ’supermarket only beer’.
