For the Vintage Ale 2020, we've stayed true to our roots - sourcing all our ingredients here in the UK. The story starts with DRC®, a Double Roasted Crystal malt from East Anglia that promises malty sweetness rich in caramel and raisin. Then there's the Herefordshire hops - Jester® and Godiva- adding ripe berry fruit and tangy citrus notes to the signature marmalade flavours of our famous Fuller's yeast.

Bottle: Poured a clear amber color ale with a large off-white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of nice dry caramel malt notes with light fruity hips notes also distinguishable. Taste is a nice mix of dry caramel malt notes and light fruity hops notes with a semi-dry finish. Body is about average for style with good carbonation with no real discernible alcohol notes. Enjoyable English strong ale but I wish the hops notes would not detract from the great malt bill.

Bottle # 075838. A beautiful beer, a dark-red-brown beer, a head is medium and blond. Aroma has apricot marmelade, also other died fruits, caramel, then also very fresh fruits, perry. Taste has apricot, dried fruits, nice fresh fruits, balanced caramel, not too sweet, some bitterness. Medium+ bodied. Very nice vintage, refreshning fresh fruitness is great.

Rocky beige head left a froth on a reddish brown still body. Berry aroma. Medium bodied, smooth with a tingly back. Berry, liquorice, malt, demerara, citrus & jam tastes. This is excellent

Bottled 500ml (Alko web)
#070153. Copper clear colour, medium-sized beige head. Aroma is not very strong but has typical Fullers Vintage notes: caramalt, toffee and dark fruits. Medium-bodied, quite robust malty. Flavour has malts, salty notes, fruits, resinous bitterness, some toffee. Clean, classic Fullers Vintage. Maybe even more fruity and complex than 2019 version.
