Tap at brewery. Hazy dark amber colour and off-white head. Toffee, vanilla, some alcohol in the nose. Medium-bodied. Toffee, alcohol, some whiskey... malty. Not very complex but ok.

Smell-malt, yeast, bit alcoholic, faint sourness to it. Foam-thin malt, weak sweetness, faint sourness, alcohol. Head is small to medium sized, white-orange color. Appearance-nice brewer cap, somewhat like label also.Hazy orange-brown color, few carbonation bubbles. From - pint Price - 4,49 for 0,33 Taste-weak sourness, weak malt, some acidic tones, booze, barelly.Faint hops in the aftertaste, also warmth. Not bad, but cant say its something I will seek again.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 33B: bourbon / 17B). Bottle 33 cl - Batch L21042020B (BBF 04.22). AROMA: medium to medium-high alcoholic vinous aroma with medium-low wood barrel, slight vanillin, esters (dried grapes) with a slight toffee character. APPEARANCE: slight hazy amber color. low beige head with low retention. TASTE: similar to the aroma with medium-high vinous flavor, slight vannilin, wood, faint esters (dried grapes). touch of acidity. medium-low bitterness with a dry finish. MOUTHFEEL: medium body with low carbonation. predominant alcoholic warmth. OVERALL: a low complexity old ale maybe from extended conditioning, not showcasing the distinct base spirit.
The bourban is in perfect quantity. The booze is well present, strong and a sipper for sure. The taste is a little muddy, which shows in the haziness, which knocks it from being perfect. The nitro serving i think suits the beer well, adds a nice creamy feel. Bar oorlam hamburg
