This ale is traditionally highly hopped and robust to survive the long voyage to the Indian sub-continent. The result is a full-bodied Pale Ale with a zesty character. Dark golden in colour, pleasing toffee aromas, and distinctive floral citrus flavours.

It is a good IPA, typical from the English school. The body is copper, well balanced with malt and hop, bitter, refreshing, 23.05.16, at this time, it was possible to find it at the coop, supermarket

nice aroma of caramel malt, and goldings, Flavour is well balanced, and bitter, a nice amount of sharp hops, and a smooth caramel maltiness, with a touch of nuts. A good bitter finish that lasts.

26/6/2021: Shared with Dan & Grumbo at the Euro 2020(1) watchathon. Aroma of caramel, herbs, flowers and a bit of veg. Lemongrass and grapefruit prominent on the taste. Long finish. Nice.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Clear amber with small white head, good retention and lacing. Aroma is grainy, earthy, toffee, some spice. Taste is malty and hoppy as expected for the style. Not particularly fruity it has toasted malt, toffee, floral and herbal bitter noted finish. Medium bodied, tingly carbonation. It grew on me over time. Sweet floral resin meets herbal bitterness on a malty backbone isn't the most tastiest but it has a very good balance and body.
