This beer pours a deep chestnut brown, with a billowing cappucino head. It has aromas of forest fruits and a biscuity, malty body. Generously hopped with US varieties.

On gravity at Bristol Beer Festival 14/3/2013. Near back in colour, with hints of red and a slight, off-white head. Decent roast malts, citrus hops and dark fruits with a decent, dry finish. Good.

Bottle, Chester Beer & Wine. Nigh on black pour with a restrained tan head. Aroma was roasted malt, coffee, and hop. Flavour was along similar lines and did it well. The hop injection was most welcome and this is more quality produce from Buxton.

500ml bottle from K-Supermarket Kamppi

Pours pitch black with a small bubbly white head. Aroma of fruits, roasty malts, hints of chocolate and caramel. Taste is quite fruity and smooth with some hoppy notes, roastiness and hints of licorice and chocolate. Finish is hoppy and slightly roasty with some smooth fruity notes and malts. Not your typical porter, but instead a nice and quite tasty light black IPA.

Bottle at home, 11th November 2012, metallic aroma, big head, good lacing. Taste is light smoke, some chocolate, malts, some orange sweet notes. Reminds me of a less complex, thiner version of smokey and the band aid
