Experience Uganda’s first stout! Since the beginning of time, many wonderful things have come out of Uganda. We are proud to deliver Uganda’s first stout beer. Brewed from the finest quality Bavarian roasted malt: the result is a beer that is bold, strong and solid. With the combination of a unique richness and smoothness not found in tradtional stouts, it is indeed a pleasant beer that is refined to your taste. The natural choice has to be Rock Stout. Enjoy!

Bottle shared by nimbleprop. Yay new country! Pours a clear dark ruby with a thin tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of roasted malts and a tart finish. The taste is roasted malts, nuts and raisins. Medium bodied. Not bad.

50cl bottle pours a transparent, mahogany brown with a thin, slightly off white head. I was very surprised by the clarity of it. Nose is very clean, light malt, some crackers, a little yeasty, some bread, a little dark chocolate, some light cherry. Flavor is fairly standard, the cherry flavor comes through well, some dark bread, very very light coffee, some dried roasted malt, a little dark chocolate. Dry finish. Very drinkable but from from transcendant. I liked their take on a standard lager much better. There are better stouts here on the African continent.
