Cask at The Gate, Northwood (Ember Inn). A golden coloured pour with a small white fluffy head on top. Citrus fruit aroma. Tastes vaguely hoppy, citrus fruit, thin and boring.

Pretty much.. crap. The coriander doesn’t fit in, the yeast doesn’t add nice flavor and generally a disappointment. Got a little better when a bit warmer.

500ml bottle bought at Sourced Market, St Pancras station and shared with friends. Loose, white head, straw coloured body. Mild floral hops to the nose. Dry lemony hops in flavour, added by a spicy touch. Short and weak bitter finish. Feels rather watered in the mouth (London, 20.03.2011).

Warning! Early amateur rating! Startling! Not subtle! Sharp aromatic and slightly bitter lemon. If there is any coriander it is overwhelmed. Nice.
