Can from Lekkerbier, Sint Nicolaasga. Nicely roasty aroma with coffee, some cocoa, notes of mocha and espresso. Roasty bitterness, medium body. Good Oatmeal Stout, ticks the right boxes!

Roasty, oatmeal and grainy. I miss the typical oatmeal creamyness

A very flavourful oatmeal stout. Dry, balanced, plenty of dark roasted malts. An amped up classical version. Very good. Bierkonig Amsterdam

0.33 l can from 'Sterk Avondverkoop', canned in December 2020. Black with a thin, frothy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, gently roasty aroma of cocoa, hazelnut, vanilla and some coffee. Gently sweet, malty, moderately roasty-bitter taste of cocoa, coffee, hazelnut and licorice, followed by a short, gently roasty-bitter, slightly earthy, a bit dry finish. Medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Tasty, well-brewed Oatmeal Stout, not overly sweet and nicely roasty.

Can at home. Opaque dark brown to black color, darker brown colored head. Aroma and flavor are malts, roasted malts, malt bitterness, lingering darker malt bitterness. Quite hard to describe properly but I like this one. Well brewed.

33cl Blik van Bierwinkel Alkmaar. Zwarte kleur, beige-bruine kraag. Aroma van gebrande mout, pure chocolade, koffie, praliné, heerlijke geroosterde geuren. Smaak volgt, romig, chocolade, koffie, cacao, caramel, bittere finish, gebrand. Medium body, romig mondgevoel. Topstout.

Black with fluffy tan head. Oaty, creamy, deep roasted chocolate malts, finishes a bit like burnt charcoal + a grain of salt. Frothy thick mouthfeel but light in abv. Like a dark icecream when properly chilled. I’ve missed this style. Really nice.
