On cask at The Cascade Room, pours a hazy dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma has lots of spicy rye and bready malt. Flavour has some odd tartness, with light spicy rye and bready malt. Get rid of that tartness. It's okay.

Flight at brewery. Pours clear pale brown. Aroma has a clear rye malt. Flavour again has clear rye with moderate bitterness. Decent rye beer, if simple.

Slight haze, medium head, amber colour, medium bitterness and plenty of rye. Decent but really a rye beer with little nuance outside of that context.

Nice cloudy copper body and good foam, soft hoppy caramel aroma. Flavour is smooth malty caramel, mellow hop sharpness, smooth cask carbonation to round it out. Very filling for the low alcohol, highly enjoyable.
