Tropical fruit flavours and aroma on a light malt base.

The Australian and New Zealand craft brewing scene has taken inspiration from the hoppy aromatic Pacific Coast American craft beers to come up with a beer style of its own.Meantime’s interpretation shouts passion fruit, mango and grapefruit, succulent and soft pale malt. A tropical taste for wholehearted summer drinking. Goes well with strong pepper flavours such as jerk chicken, also rich soft cheeses.

Draft at the Wildeman Amsterdam. A good session beer for sure. Light frothing and heavy lacing. Light aroma, lightly hoppy taste. Should be served cool and in pints on a hot summers day! Lovely beer that really floats my boat. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft House - pre RBESG Tasting. Clear gold beer. Little white head. Light crisp palate. Nice pale malt with an unusual limey hop. Dry finish with mild bitterness. Aftertaste has some lychee. Interesting and refreshing. Would have been good to know what hops went in here. Had another 2 pints of this at the brewery a few weeks later and they were nowhere near as tropical.
