Tropical fruit flavours and aroma on a light malt base.
The Australian and New Zealand craft brewing scene has taken inspiration from the hoppy aromatic Pacific Coast American craft beers to come up with a beer style of its own.Meantime’s interpretation shouts passion fruit, mango and grapefruit, succulent and soft pale malt. A tropical taste for wholehearted summer drinking. Goes well with strong pepper flavours such as jerk chicken, also rich soft cheeses.

Keg at Greenwich Union. Lovely aroma of grapefruit, but also tropical too: passionfruit, pine. Original and nice. Medium copper color. Very dry flavor, flinty, minerally, very light. Whole grain bread, with grassy, piney hops. Medium bitterness. Very different flavor to the nose. Light body, crisp and clean. A nice, dry, summer beer.

On tap at Draft House Tower Bridge. Odd tropical fruit flavour and aroma. Its cold and over carbonated. Ok but a weird tropical fruit that puts me off. Touch too metallic on the swallow

Draught@The Draft House, Tower Bridge, London. Golden colouro, small white head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is fruits, earth, dough, mild tropical fruityness and also quite rich on the malts. Flavour iis toffee, bread, some dough, mild fruity andd floral notes. Balanced, but rather boring.
