Cask at the brewery. 4.4%. Clear chocolate brown. Beige foam is creamy and lasting. Light chocolate and light roast. Some leafy old world hoppage. Good depth of flavour with a definite sweetness. Drinks well. Lightly bites on the finish. Solid kit.

Tap at Triple Point Brewery, Sheffield. Black in colour, beige foam head and aroma of roasted malt, smokey, coffee & dark chocolate. Taste is roast malt, caramel, chocolate & coffee, with earthy bitterness. Meduum bodied, soft carbonation, dry roasty bitter finish. Nicely drinkable.

Pours deep, dark brown, with a reddish tinge, and a frothy off-white head, with a mildly roasted coffee aroma. Light bodied for a Porter, on the thin side, with coffee flavours coming through the roasted malt, some dark fruits and a touch of bitterness.
