500ml bottle. Quasi black colour with very light, dark ruby shimmer and average to huge, thick, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, beige head. Minimally grainy and roasty, malty aroma, a touch of malt lozenge and dark caramel. Taste is slightly grainy and strawy malty, minimally roasty, a touch of malt lozenge, subtle sweetness. Minimally creamy, watery texture, smooth and soft palate, fine, soft, creamy carbonation. Not much Dunkel character, not much depth - so-so.

Green 0,33 l bottle with a decent label. Malty nearly sweet on the nose. Taste starts low roasted malty, little bit sourness, low metallic. Really quaffable, definitive no german Schwarzbrot. Probably too thin for a dark beer enthusiast, I like it. [Test 8.11.2012]

Bottle from Famila in Varel. Nett.
