Hefig-herber Start, süßlich, helles Getreide. Mild würzig, trocken, die hefige Herbe bleibt konstant. Ansteigende Bitterkeit von geringem Level aus, mittellanger Abgang. 9/7/7/7/8/7

0.33 l bottle from 'Cactus' (Redingen), best before July 2024. Slightly hazy, golden yellow with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, quite fruity-floral, slightly grassy aroma of lemon peel, honey and some vanilla. Quite sweet, malty, moderately bitter, gently fruity-floral, slightly yeasty and a bit grassy taste of honey, lemon peel, light vanilla and some clove, followed by a short, gently bitter finish. Medium to full body, quite effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Not that much of a Tripel, decent brew anyway. Quite fruity and well-balanced at least.

Vrij weinig tripelsmaak aan. Vooral vlak. Wat nog altijd beter is dan de gemiddelde Belgische tripel. #luxemburg #notForgotten LCI.

Poured from 330mL bottle from Auchan supermarket Luxembourg. Clear gold with small white head. Mild lemon note underlies Belgian yeast, thin, meh.

330mL bottle, pours a clear pale golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out candi sugar, some Belgian yeast, and gentle estery, bubblegum-y notes. Flavour is estery, with some bubblegum, candi sugar, and light esters. Carbonation is a bit too low, which means the esters come across a bit too bubblegum-y. Not the worst tripel, but it's not so great.

Tripel from Luxemburg, thanks Craftmember for sharing the bottle. Snow white, moussy, closed and stable, frothy head on an initially clear yellow golden beer, misty with sediment. Aroma of green banana, clove, old withered green kale, leftover dough, honey, cold chamomile tea, damp straw, raw potato and rainwater. Sweetish, estery onset, banana, pear, fizzy carb, rounded body; white-bready maltiness with a layer of honeyish sweetishness on top, adding phenolic dill- and clove-like herbaceous elements along with a flowery aspect, but little bitterness. Ends with a dash of warming, calvados-like alcohol which nevertheless remains well in place. Sweet and simple, ‘basic’ Belgian style tripel, but not very well balanced for this style – the country to the west of Luxemburg has gazillions of tripels and in comparison, this one would be in the lower quality range of those.

Huge thanks to Erzengel for that one! Bottle looks very simple. Beer in the glass deep golden, small head. Fresh hoppy aroma. Starts intense malty, wheaty, some alcohol, mild sweetness. Finish more balanced. Light fruity touch. Interesting...

0,33 l bottle from Erzengel. Thnaks a lot! Cloudy pale golden with a smallest fast fading head in the glass. Smells nearly like a Weißbier. Taste starts fruity malty, belgian style, orage and sugar sweetness. Smooth with caramell and orange. Very easy drinking stuff. Nice, except the medical part to the end.
