Murky brown topped with a tan cap that thins to the edge.
Nose is fruit cake mix, caramel, herb, hint of chocolate.
Taste comprises dried fruit rinds, lick of booze, spice, caramel, raw fruit.
Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, drying close with a spike of alcohol.
Okay sipper if a little raw and unrefined.

21/2/2026. Bottle at ITFC Beer share. Courtesy of Boris, cheers! Unenergetic pour. Toffee, bready, woody, touch meaty. Quite bitter initially. Good body. Lacked a bit of refinement.

Bottle picked up from Craftbeer webshop Parchim, Germany and consumed at home Wednesday 9th January 2022 listening to Ezra Furman standing in for Marc Riley on 6 Music, we had Fish Pie with Broccoli for tea. Pours hazy brown beer with a small light beige head that lasted a nano second before being consumed by the body of beer.. Caramel, toffee, malt, nuts and a boozy fug fill the nostrils. malt, dried fruits, wood. It's sweet, strong, boozy, nuts, with dried sticky fruits, maltiness, warming but very drinkable despite the abv. Lovely effort..

Bottle from Freigeist. Aroma of coffee, chocolate, booze. Taste, dark malt, coffee, smoked malt, raisins, chocolate, booze, which is understandable. Nice, powerfull. .
