Can shared in Canary Wharf - cheers to Cloin. Pours brown-black with a foamy, tan head. Sweet but still has decent balance, with notes of rich chocolate, toasted caramel, brownies. Full bodied, lightly chewy, with fine carbonation. Lightly warming finish, more dense chocolate character. Very tasty.

Whiskey/rum, chocolate malt and hay aroma. Black with large brown head. Moderately sweet whiskey/rum, coffee, chocolate malt, and moderately bitter hay and alcohol flavor. Nice body - boozy finish. Definitely a sipper - excellent.

Nose is chocolate melt, big bourbon rip, coffee bean, light spice, brown sugars, toffee. Taste comprises dark malts, chocolate, toffee fudge, rich roast, coffee grinds, well integrated bourbon. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost. Solid BA impy.

16 oz can from Tavour, 2/14/20. Dark brown color, creamy light brown head. Big whiskey aroma, bit of rum too. Coffee and chocolate coming through as well, but the whiskey is the star of the aroma for sure. Whiskey taste as well, gets some more dark fruit / raisin to it. Brown sugar notes. Overall, this one is big and boozy. A sipper for sure. Good flavor, good overall. 7/4/8/3/15

16 oz. Aroma is bourbon, wood, caramel, coconut, earth, raisin, licorice, sherry, oxidation. Pours black with a thin beige head. Taste is highly sweet and boozy with flavors like the aroma. It's too sweet and boozy for me, but it's not too bad.

Can thanks to Santa. Pours a pitch black hue with a small light beige head. A big whiskey and cocoa nose. Big whiskey, some chocolate, the only off flavor here is a sort of sweet almost buttery note, roast, vanilla, fairy warm but drinkable.

Can from brewery. Inky black pour covered with a filmy beige head. Chocolate leads the aroma, then coffee. Taste brings a rich roasty base, more cho olate, light coffee with bozzy finish and pleasant burn.

On Tap at the Boise brewery/Taproom Nearly black pour. Thin brief tan head. Big dark roast aromas and flavors. Some coffee and some dark chocolate. The barrel aging is subtle and though very tasty, this is a pretty straight forward oaked stout. Very big, not overly sweet for its ABV and quite a boozy burn at the end.
