Pigs Ear. Bottle. Opaque dark brown beer, good bubbly tan head. Airy dark malts, a light dark malt cream and modest cocoa. Slightly tangy fruits. Tastes slightly aged. Light and semi dry finish. Tasty enough.

Good, stable, russet-cream head over opaque, deep reddish brown beer. Coffee, bit dusty, roasted nuts, faintly ashy. Sweetish roasted coffee. Again different roasted flavours. Finish has coffeedregs, if not bitter nor wry. Medium to well-bodied, very well-carbonated, tad sticky. Not too sweet, but still, a bit lame. Txs to Stef!

0.75 l bottle from 'Etre Gourmet', best before end of 2025. Clear, very dark ruby to black with a large, frothy, slowly diminishing, beige head. Sweetish-malty, quite roasty, slightly fruity aroma of dark chocolate, coffee, some ash, licorice and dark fruits. Quite sweet, malty, fairly roasty, slightly fruity taste of dark chocolate, coffee, licorice, caramel, roasted hazelnut and some dark fruits, followed by a medium long, quite roasty-bitter, moderately dry finish. Medium body, fairly effervescent mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Interesting Stout, fairly Belgian, nice variation. Very unexpected from such a Saison-focused brewery.

375ml bottle - Pours a deep dark brown with a ruby tint and a diminishing frothy beige head. The aroma is roasted malts, coffee grounds, chocolate with some dark fruit notes. A roasted taste, coffee, roasted malts, chocolate and burnt caramel and dark fruit flavours with a bittersweet finish.

Brown colour with thin head. Aroma and flavour have pleasant level of coffee. Nicely bitter. Coffee dominates though. Quite gassy.
