Sample (thanks fonefan!). Brown colour, small beige head. Aroma is nutty, toasted, some roast and mild chocolaty tones. Flavour is nutty, chocolaty, some tobaccoish and ashy elements with mild sweet malts. Quite ashy tobaccoish aftertaste.

Sample, thanks fonefan! Black, rich head. Caramelly nose. Mid sweet with light body and clean mouthfeel, spritzy carbonation. Caramel and leather, notes of red berries. Low bitterness.

ABV: 5.5%. Clear medium to dark red brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, sweet malt, malty, light chocolate. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, dark malt, chocolate, caramel, thin. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20210531]

33cl bottle. A hazy very dark brown beer with a small beige head. Aroma of sweet dark chocolate malt, burned malt, some yeast. Taste of sweet dark brown malt, chocolate, caramel, yeast.

Dunkler röstiger Beginn, dessen Hintergrund leider ziemlich wässrig ist. Geringe Bitterkeit, die zum Mittelteil aber ansteigt, etwas Schokolade, mittellanger Abgang. Zu schwach. 9/7/8/7/9/7

0.33 l bottle from the brewery's web shop, best before December 2021. Hazy, very dark brown with a thin, frothy, almost stable, off-white head. Sweetish-malty aroma of chocolate, nuts and wet leaves. Gently sweet, malty, minimally bitter taste of chocolate, caramel, nuts, some wet leaves and hints of coffee, followed by a short, slightly bitter, minimally roasty, a little chalky finish. Medium to full body, smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Pleasant Porter, quite thick for such a low abv, only smells a little musty.
