0,75l bottle at home. Botttled 09/2024. amber hazy color, small white head. Smells earthy, grassy, spices, herbal, some funk, very light fruit notes. very nice smell. full body, soft carbonation. Tastes earthy, herbal, spices, light plums, peppery, tobacco, light funk. Finishes dry and light to medium sour with notes of earth, spices and peppery notes. Very nice one overall, only very subtle plum notes, the beer is way more prominent. The combination of beer and fruit is not totally balanced, a tad on the heavy side overall.

One of several L’Illuminé versions, this one with plum; at Gentse Biervereniging’s Antidoot tasting in Open Huis Jan Yoens in the so-called ‘flower quarter’ (Bloemekenswijk) in Ghent. Snow white, open but edge-retaining mousse on top of a misty ‘old golden’ beer with vague greenish tinge. Aroma of mostly green (unripe) plum and very little sweet ripe plum if any, dandelion, chamomile, grass, green tea (matcha), kefir, margarine, lemon flesh. Astringent onset, strong unripe plum effect again, medium carbonated with smooth cereally core, carrying on drying lactic acidity alongside this astringent plum skin effect; supple, kefir- and slightly lemon-like sourness throughout, with everything remaining dominated by unripe green plum astringency alongside these grassy notes returning in many of Antidoot’s creations. Antidoot plum sour through and through – but expect dryness and a slight wry ‘unripe’ effect (which is actually very refreshing) rather than juicy sweet ripe plums of any kind.

Pours unclear, warm blonde. Small white head. Scent is full, very fruitforward. Taste is full, very nice, malty, fruity, extremeley balanced. Fine yet complex acidity. Very joyfull, fruity summersipper with more intensity and balance, as well as complexity as the average fruited lambic. Awesome ! Bit lactic, almost. Someone called out yoghurt, which I wouldn't name myself, but certainly can understand.

Sampled at the famed Antidoot backyard. Had the last pour of this bottle, so the haze game is strong in this one !A very cloudy amber, with a small white head. Scent is intense, plum, thick. Very intense ! taste is medium acidic, very fruity, fresh, dry, tad acidic back, but with a nice sour balance. Somewhat lactic as well. Very mild wood. nice!
Lovely juicy plums in a sour, slightly funky and oaky layer. Lotsa fruit, but still beer first. Something slightly herbal, bit of light sweetness and ending dry. Nicely cpmplex and very very tasty. Starting to like plum beers more and more.
