Sensory Session #33: almost clear, brown-reddish color and a nice tan head. Malty nose with caramel and toffee sweetness. Malty taste, hoppy, with herbal-sweetish fin ish.

Aus der Flasche (bbe 16.09.2023) im 2021-09 getrunken. Dieses rotbraune Ale kommt deutliche im English Barley Wine Styl mit einer kräftigen Malznote, die anfängliche süssliche Getreidenote wird nach Hinter von einer deutlichen Hopfennote eingefangen.

33cl Fles van hopt.nl. Diepe amber kleur, witte kraag. Aroma van caramel, grassige hop, thee, lijkt wat op Paulaner Salvator qua moutigheid. Smaak is zoet maar vooral ook fors bitter, droog, theeblaadjes, gras, galbitter, weinig subtiel. Volle body. Ruikt top, smaak is iets te heftig wat mij betreft.

330ml bottle from Beery Christmas Advent Calendar - Day 20 - Dark amber body, thin head. Nose is very boozy, barley sugar, dark cake fruits. Taste hits you in the mush with booziness, fruit and cake. Sweet at the end.

Bottle from the Beer Hawk Advent Calendar. Pours lovely clear copper with a thin white head. Aromas of malt loaf and roasted hazelnuts. Taste has more nuttiness and light marmalade and raisins. Clean finish. Lovely stuff.
