Canned in September. Hops seem to be just starting to turn. Not bad but not one of my favorite fair states.

turbid golden amber color. Frothy white head. Orange gummy bears, mango juice, tart and sweet nose with crackery malt character. Juicy. Medium full body. Low carbonation, low medium bitterness. Slightly boozy. Nice, but a bit too heavy and boozy.

16 oz. can. Side by side both brewery versions. Aroma is grapefruit, leafy hop, and lime peel. Flavor is similar to grapefruit blended with lime with danky whole cone hops dropped in. Mouthfeel is soft and shows a oat texture. I enjoyed this MUCH more than the Black Stack version.

Can pour from trade with AirForceHops--thanks, Chris! Appearance is opaque orange juice with mild sparkle at the edges of the glass, finger-width foamy white head with fair retention and rings of soapy lacing. Aroma is strong sweet citrus, grapefruit and tangerine, with faint herb. Taste is strong sweet citrus and grapefruit dominant with lesser tangerine/orange creamsicle (though more dominant as it warms) and lightly vegetal. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, soft carbonation and crisp, fairly dry finish as taste with only a mild lingering bitterness. Overall, really strong on all fronts. Delicious.

This a fine double NE IPA beer. Hazy, melon. Quality beer to be able to get on a local shelf.

Can. Pours a hazy yellow with a slight orange hue and a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has bitter citrus and grapefruit with a bit of dank guava and some sweet grains underlying. Flavor combines sweet citrus and bitter grapefruit with light guava and a hint of sweet grain underlying.
