Bottled. A dark golden beer with a lazing off-white head. The aroma has notes of elderflowers, butterscotch, and some malt. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of elderflowers, and medium notes of butterscotch and malt, leading to a bitter finish.

Cask handpull at The George, Egerton, Kent. My god, a Sheps beer with hops!!! Good fullness in the body and good hop bitterness and sting on the finish. I would have stayed for another but I had pubs to visit.

28th June 2010. On tap at the Sun Inn, Kelvedon, Essex. Clear amber beer, little white head. Dry palate. Reasonably well balanced. Light malt. Repressed orange and pineapple in the hop. It’s really not that hoppy considering 10 varieties went in! Finishes a little over dry with some bubblegum and honey tones. Seriously - where are the 10 hops? More lost that Wayne Rooney in a world cup game!

Pasteurised, bottled (from Citymarket Kivihaka, Vaasa). Golden colour, small off-white head. Aroma is fruity and floral hops along with quite big earthy and grassyness. Some bready malts as well. Flavour is grass, some bready malts and mild notes of parfume and wood. Quite dry wooden notes in the finish.
