Hellmalziger Antrunk, wenig getreidig. Dazu etwas alkoholisch. Kaum aromatisch, die Stärke des Bieres zeigt sich leider in keinster Weise. Weiter hellmalzig, etwas hefig. Naja... 6/7/7/8/8/8

Can from the Deen market in Volendam. Pours dark gold with a foamy white head. Mild hop aroma. Rather sweet, Not a lot of hop to balance. Not wholly distasteful, but not enticing at all. On the other hand it’s a lot cleaner than many of the style.

Can. A golden beer with a thick white head. The aroma has notes of malt and straw as well as a touch of caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and metal from the alcohol, leading to a dry, strawy, and metallic finish.

Can. It’s a clear, golden beer with a white head. Alcohol, malty sweetness and acetone. Alcohol and malty sweetness in the mouth, warming and full-bodied, finishing with a bitterness to keep the sweetness, alcohol and hints of metal company. Even though this one is sort of awful, it’s also drinkable. 090925

Can: Golden, quite quickly collapsing fluffy head; light sugary-grainy nose with a light touch of toasted malt and hops, nice aromas of potato-chips(!) or french fries detectable; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, quite light bodied for a beer of 7.5%; fruity-grainy and very delicate bitter finish. A fine monotonous brew, but if You drink it, You’ll save the costs for the potato-chips........

[can] Clear, golden colour with a thick and dense, slightly off-white foamy head. Sweet and slightly corny pale malty nose with a touch of biscuits and herbal hops. Sweet and slightly bitter flavour, medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Biscuity and slightly grainy taste, the alcohol is obviously well-hidden. Sweet, slightly sugary finish with a shy herbal hoppy touch. Despite its strength, a pretty tasteless strong Lager [08.I.09].
