Hazy medium to deep amber, tall frothy off-white head, slowly dissipating with a cone in the middle (where else), fair lacing. Aroma toasted malt, caramel, grain, dried apricot. Taste medium sweet and bitter, malty, caramel, grainy, nutty notes; bit peppery on the tongue, burnt caramel and earthy notes in the finish. A very nice amber ale, tasty and well-balanced.

Bottle from Terre de Boissons Calais and drunk at home. Clear russet colour lasting beige head. Peppery hop aroma with some sweet amber malt. smooth in the mouth. I do like the peppery hop. Malt balance is fine. Good hoppy amber ale.

Bottle. Pours a clear, dark, amber color, with a small, creamy head. The aroma is caramel, licorice, mild coffee, pine, and dry grass. Not very sweet, with a harsh bitterness. Medium body, with a sharp, grainy mouthfeel. This is a fair amber. A little overhopped and harsh.
