Bottle from Tesco. Poured a pale golden colour with a thin white head. Aroma of lemon zest, sherbet and corn syrup. Floral hop flavour with some bready malt. Light metallic palate and bitter orange peel.

Cask. Golden colour, mediumsized white bubbly head. aroma is very fruity, nectary and pleasant. Flavour is the same along with very wooden hints. A good and pleasant session drinking thingy.

Cask at the Monks Retreat (JDW), Reading. Amber with a dense off-white head; fruity bitterness with some honey; pleasant bitter finish. Rather average.
50cl bottle from Sainsburys. Very similar, with a good fresh bitterness that’s unusual in a bottled beer.

(Cask at GBBF, London, 4 Aug) Colour is golden yellow with a foamy white head, leaving lots of lacing. Nose is fruity with citrus, apricots and a nice earthy and dusty hop aroma. Taste is fruity with citrus (grapefruit, mandarin) and a balanced, nice, bitter finish with earthy hops. Rather complex and nice.

[Cask at GBBF 2005] An orange-brown beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet with light notes of caramel and light dusty hoppy notes. The flavor has light notes of caramel, leading to a dry bitter end.
