Sample thanks to Cloin: Poured a pitch black with a light brown head. Aroma is blast of orgasmic hazelnut, underlying chocolate. Taste is rich malts, light smoke, chocolate, hazelnut, milky, smooth but bold until the end.

440ml Can SophiesBeerStore.co.uk. Pours pitch black with large tan head. Aroma of Intense chocolate with marzipan, continuing to taste creamy sweet with dark ferrero rocher and a slick rich mouthfeel. Nice roasty finish. Intense stuff.

Can at home, from HOTM online, 20/12/20. Black with a decent tan cap. Nose is nutty, chocolate praline, light roast, spice, dark malts, toffee crisp, hint of vanilla. Taste comprises sweet malts, residual sugars, Nutella, brown sugar melt, sweet chocolate. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost. Decent pastry affair ... a touch on the sweet side and not as well balanced as the BA efforts but a fun enough beer none the less.
