3/7/2021: Shared with Dan & Grumbo. Aroma of vanilla, toffee, almost Neapolitan ice cream, rum and roasted malts. Very smooth and thick. Sweet bitterness to the finish. Perfect way to celebrate a semi final place after the madness had calmed down. Sit back sip and relax. Brilliant.

3/7/2021. Can shared with Dan & ITFCfan at the EuroQF beer share. From Craft Metropolis, Penge. Pours black with a bubbly beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, wood, chocolate, vamilla and rum. Medium sweetness, light roasted bitterness. Full body, slick texture, soft carbonation. We often finish these beer shares with a sipping rum, didn't need to tonight. This was special enough.

Sample thanks to Cloin: Poured a deep black with thin light brown head. Aroma is boozy, roasted malts. Taste is super boozy, rich chocolate, smooth toffee, malty. This is dangerous at 10%!

Can at home, from HOTM online, 19/12/20. Black with a decent tan cap that dissipates to a lasting swirl. Nose is light roast malts, spice, dark chocolate, toffee, brown sugar melt, touch of honeycomb, hint of liquorice. Taste comprises sweet malts, light coffee, mellow kiss of rum, brown sugar melt, light spice, toffee fudge, trace of chocolate. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost. Solid well balanced BA pay-stree affair, never gets too sweet and drinks fairly easy for the ABV.

Can. Opaque dark brown beer, small tan head. Smooth palate, light but a little soft. Reasonable fine carbonation. Soft mellow dark malts, a lovely milk chocolate and dark chocolate combo, near that sweet spot of 65% milk chocolate and 35% dark chocolate. Smooth but subtle vanilla from the barrel. Super super smooth fruity rum, light but tasty. Smooth finish. Ye god's, this is such a good series. This smooth, very clean for a BA beer, and bloody drinkable.
