Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Pours black in colour with some dark brown bubbles on top, and aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, dried fruits, figs, treacle. Taste is smokey, roasty, malty, dark chocolate, dried fuits, coffee, with some spicy earthy bitterness. Full bodied, soft carbonation, roasted earthy bitter finish. Very sippable.

Sample thanks to Grumbo: Poured a deep black with tan bubble head. Aroma is boozy, roasted malts, chocolate. Tasted dark fruits, chocolate, boozy, roasted malts, coffee bean.

24/12/2020. Bottle from CentrAle, Newcastle. Pours black with a small frothy tan coloured head. Aroma of liquorice, toffee, dark chocolate, black treacle, roasted malt and ash. Medium sweetness and moderate roasted bitterness. Rich and full bodied. Very soft carbonation. Lovely.
