A New England Style IPA hopped with Rakau, a New Zealand hop. First beer we have made with this hop which delivers loads of juicy, citrusy tropical stone fruit. Soft thick creamy oat heavy malt base backs up these wonderful hops.

Keg delivered from the Real Ale Classroom, Leicester and drunk at home. Light gold, hazy, with a small white head. Gentle aroma with apricot and a touch of banana. More apricot in the sweet taste, which hangs on to the slightly bitter finish. Light to medium carbonation. Simple and subtle, it's not the sort of beer that knocks me sideways but it's pretty moreish.

Sample thanks to Grumbo: Poured a murky orange yellow with a thin white head. Aroma is huge tropical and fruity, hops, citrus. Taste is super juicy, tropical, tangy, so lively, hops, stone fruit, very enjoyable.

28/11/2020. Key-keg take-out from the Fat Cat, Ipswich. Pours cloudy/murky mustard gold with minimal head. Aroma is juicy stone fruit and tropical fruit. Apricot, peach, passion fruit, unripened mango, touch of rubbery pine. Moderate sweetness and bitterness. Medium body, very soft carbonation. Very drinkable.
