Tried at the Fortescue Arms Billingbrough. Pale amber colour with a white head. Aroma and taste are malty citrus. Light bitter sweet to slight bitter medium body.

500ml bottle [courtesy of Grumbo - cheers Graham!], [slow gusher]. Slightly cloudy, dark golden colour with average to huge, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Citrusy, herbal, hoppy and bready, pale malty aroma, notes of lemon, lime, lemon balm, white bread. Taste is citrusy and herbal hoppy, minimally sweet, bready, pale malty, hints of lemon, lime, lemon balm, white bread. Watery texture, slightly dry palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation. Well hopped, refreshing, drinkable - OK.

Sample thanks to Grumbo: Poured a jello yellow orange with a white frothy head. Aroma is malty, light hops. Taste is hoppy, bitter, citrus, light cardboard, malty.

18/11/2020. Bottle from Beers of Europe, Kings Lynn. Bit of a gusher. Pours slightly hazy golden with a modest off-white head. Aroma is grainy, hoppy, fruity, floral. Moderate sweetness with developing bitterness. Moderate body, a little watery, average to soft carbonation. Became much better after it settled, with a nice bittersweet finish.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Appearance - golden with nicely proportioned lacing. Nose - dried fruit, brown bread. Maybe some zest. Taste - bread and raisin. Again some indication of citrus. Palate - light to medium bodied. Crunchy texture. Persistent finish and malt bitterness not too astringent. Overall - reckon this a Bitter. Not bad.
