Cask at Aswarby Rectory, Aswarby. Sunk a few of these during the fabulous wedding of Luke and Jess. A very decent golden that you could keep supping all night, which is what I did. Yummy blonde, shiny yellow cask ales for days.

Sample thanks to Grumbo: Poured a cloudy blonde orange with a white head. Aroma is mixes of cardboard box and sweaty meat locker. Taste is bitter forward, malty and grain backbone.

17/10/2020. Bottle at the Lublin SoN beer share, from Beers of Europe. Opened with a half-hearted (and not unexpected) gush. Poured clear pale gold with a large frothy white head. Aroma of citrus, grain, sweet malt, grassy hops and touch of herb. Moderate sweetness and light bitterness. Moderate body, slight watery texture, average to soft carbonation. Well above the 8 Sail average.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Appearance - a massive gusher. Still saved 3/4 of a pint. Hazy yellow to orange with eventually decent head. Nose - light sherbet but mainly lemon pith. Green apple. Taste - more lemon pith, light cracker note. Palate - light bodied with balanced bitterness. Overall - I thought it might be infected, given the gush element, but on reflection I think it may have been sitting at too high of a temperature and perhaps that set the yeast off a bit. Not bad at all.
