Can thanks to Chance. Pours a cloudy purple with large frothy pink head. The aroma is blackberry, dough, wheat. Thick, jammy blackberry, cherry, dough, nice tartness, very good.

Can thanks to Dave, split at the Hazlemere lockdown 2 tasting, 04/09/20. Big beetroot red pour with a vibrant crimson cap. Nose is blackberries, pulped berry fruits, sugars, light acidic nostril twitch. Taste comprises big berry pulp, blackberry yoghurt, mixed berry compote, residual sugars, rhubarb. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced puckering edge. Solid flavour packed affair.

28/9/2020. Sample shared by SHIG. Pours super thick dark blackberry red with a bubbly head of the same colour. Aroma is lightly sugared stewed blackberry, blackberry pie pastry, yogurt, subtle vanilla and slight alcohol notes to remind you this is a beer. Moderate sweetness and medium sour with a light salty touch on the lips. Full thick body, no place for carbonation. Just wow.

Sample thanks to Cloin: Poured a burgandy maroon, head was foamy purple. Aroma is pungent berries, lactose, fruity. Taste is lip puckering fruit, berries puree blast, very tart thru the finish, little seedy.

Can shared at Colin's high Wycombe tasting. A super thick beet juice, deep purple red coloured pour with lasting purple head. Aroma is huge tart blackberry, woody, berry pips, raspberry culee, mixed berries. Flavour is composed of medium sweet, tart, blackberry Smoothie, raspberry, light wood note, tart, mixed woodland berries. Palate is thick chewy, tart, light yogurt funk. Sharp, prickly, moderate carbonation lots of fun.
