330ml can direct from brewer. Pours dark gold, small white head with ringed retention. Aroma of sweet biscuit malts, toffee, citrus, grass Taste is malts, caramel, grass, citrus, quite a dry crisp note, decent bitterness in the finish. Low to moderate body despite the malt content, Carbonation is fine. Its a balanced but unremarkable traditional styled malty session ale. Nice enough though.

Sample thanks to Grumbo: Poured a golden with a nice creamy white head. Aroma is grassy, sweet, malty, pine. Taste is piney bitter, that leaves way to sweet caramel and toffee.

9/7/2020. Can from the Castle Yard Tap Room, Coventry. Pours clear golden with a light amber tint and a short lasting white head. Aroma of caramel, malt, hops, grass and wet pine needles plus a waft of sweet puff pastry. Medium sweetness and light bitterness. Moderate body, oily watery texture, average carbonation. It's ok, nothing more.
