This perry is made purely from Blakeney Red perry pears picked from trees at Acorn Bank, Cumbria. Acorn Bank has the finest collection of perry pear trees in the North-West of England. Long summer days and cool fermentation results in a finely-flavoured perry. Dry tannins are balanced by a distinct fruitiness and make this a good aperitif or partner for cheese. Serve cool but not too cold.

750ml bottle from BeerGB. Pale yellow colour, afew short-lived bubbles on top and aroma of pear, fruity & woody. Taste is pear, fleshy, some skin, with woody notes, lightly tart & sugary, with soft tannins. Slightly syrupy mouthfeel, medium bodied, low carbonation, dry fruity pear finish. Nicely drinkable.
