This cider is made purely from Cumbrian fruit from the 2018 & 2019 harvests. Belle de Boskoop apples (34%) from our own orchard and Blakeney Red pears (13%) from Acorn Bank provide depth and tannin structure while Tom Putt (30%) adds freshness and Scotch Bridget (21%) gives flavour and balance. The juice was fermented and matured in cold conditions and then carefully blended to result in this fine cider. The pears also add fragrance and smoothness—the result is a cider which is great to drink by itself or paired with fish, pork or poultry, or with a variety of vegetarian dishes.

Although ready to drink when bottled (see date below), it will develop in the bottle for up to two years.
