27/6/2020. Bottle from Beer Cockermouth (beergb.com), and shared with the SHIG at the Cumbrian 20 bottle share. Pours slightly hazy pale gold with a bubbly/frothy off-white head. Aroma of hops, fruit, flowers, touch of butter and veg. Moderate sweetness and light to moderate bitterness. Light body, watery texture, average finish. Grainy finish. Bit better, less buttery.

Bottle thanks to Grumbo: Poured a unclear golden with white whispering head. Aroma is light butter, some malt, citrus. Taste fruity and buttery, malt soft bitter.

Bottle from Beer Ambleside. Appearance - golden with a very slight haze. Nose - malt bag, meadow flowers. Slight dankness. Taste - grainy and a lot of dry malt notes. Something floral or custard towards the back. Palate - creamy but still dry and astringent. Light bodied. Overall - a bit challenging.

Cask, at the brewery. Straw colour. Thick, bright white foam. Nose has sweet wort. Bread. Trace of leafy hop. Taste is light sweet and dry. Minimal bitterness. Light body. Low carbonation. Light bitter finish. Pretty standard fayre.
