Our standard bitter is inspired by and named after Potton’s own Theatre of Widdershins, This is an unexpected and distinctly contrary beer. A dark body of deep malt and bitter chocolate leads into late notes of oak and blackberry.

1/5/2020. Bottle bought at the brewery. Pours dark amber / brown with a creamy off-white to beige head. Nice looking pour. Aroma is malty, nutty, light chocolate, with some overripe and stewed fruits. Taste has a light fruity sourness, moderate sweetness and light bitterness. Average carbonation, not much body to it. Grew on me.
