10/2/2020. Cask at the Imperial, Worcester. A surprise find! Pours clear pale gold with a small white head. Aroma of grain, sweet malt, citrus and grass. Moderate sweetness and bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily and watery texture, soft carbonation. Typical of most rugby themed beers.

Cask ale, shared with Finn at the brewpub in Oakham. Near clear golden body, covering white head, spotty lacing. Grassy hops on the nose, semi-dry. Mixed taste of biscuit notes backed by grassy hops. Slight bitter touch to the ending. Fair enough. (11.02.2019).

Cask half-pint at the source on 15th March 2016. Golden pour with a full white head. Light malty aroma and taste with a hop balance in the flavour. Decent enough lunchtime throwing beer, or long evening session ale. I was on a mission though, so had to move on.
