Technically there's actually only one lake in the Lake District, so this one is misnamed. Golden colour with a head. Gentle easy enough drinking with a light lager character. Ordinary but a little better than the macro stuff.

500ml bottle from Cranston's in Penrith - clear pale gold, thin head. Sweet and biscuity malts, very light on the hops. Harmless enough.

Foamy white head left a spotty cover on slowly carbonated unclear golden coloured body. Malt, digestive & fruity aroma. Medium bodied, soft with a light carbonation & cloying back. Sweet, stone fruit, malt & sugary tastes with a fruity peppery finish. Decent Lager.

15/2/2020. Bottle from Booths, Kendal; courtesy of saxo and Rasmus40, cheers! Poured clear dark gold with a small white head. Aroma of flowers, hops, grass, sweet malt and light herb. Medium plus sweetness and minimal tartness. Light body, watery texture, flat carbonation. Grainy biscuit finish. Not good.
