Third by hand-pulled cask at GBBF Winter, Jewellers Bar. Shared with Finn. Black with a brownish shade, fair beige head, scattered lacing. Promising smell of dark chocolate and dark fruits. Chocolate malty flavours followed by pine needles to the finish. Well balanced brew. Like it. (Birmingham 05.02.2020).

8/2/2020. From cask at the Great British Winter Beer Festival, Birmingham. Pours dark ruby brown with a small off-white head. Aroma of chocolate, malt, caramel and coffee. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation. Roasty finish.

Cask @ GBBF, Birmingham. Small head with short duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are rich bitter hops, roast malt, chocolate, licorice and has a nice long bitter finish.

Cask @ Bailey Head. Pours dark enough, small receding beige head. Light roasty nose. Taste bears a nice bitter tickle above the roasty malt base, light bodied. Ok.
