På GBBF Winter 2020 i Birmingham. Delt med Rune. Svart. Lavt tynt luftig skum med litt farge. Lakrisaroma. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken merst lakris. Litt sjokolade. Ettersmak av røstet malt & kakao.

Cask @ Calans, Hebden Bridge. Black with an off-white creamy head. Has nutty roasted malts in its nose, with a similar but lighter taste in its session texture.

Handpull cask at the Salmon, Leicester. Dark brown with a bit of translucency (not much though). A large creamy beige head. Sumptuous aroma of roast malt, oak, a coal fire. There's an underlying sweetness to the taste despite the intensity of the roast malt. Too-strong coffee, plum and smoked meats in the aftertaste. And a wonderful light fizz coming from the natural carbonation. An incredible cask porter.
