Sample at the brewpub. Brown-black pour with a medium beige head that dissipates steadily to a film. Sparse patches of lace. Peanut, chocolate and malt aromas. Light-bodied with flavors of roasted peanuts, chocolate malt and a bit of coffee. The finish is roasty with a peanut butter aftertaste. Above average overall.

Draft: Poured a dark brown almost black with tan head. Aroma is peanut butter. Taste is peanut butter and chocolate.
