Standish Hall, une IPA que nous aimons beaucoup. Standish Hall est bien saturée en houblon avec l'utilisation du houblon Mosaic sous différentes formes (Mosaic et Mosaic Cryo).

Tasting at Ryan's, can, 11/05/23
Murky pale blond colour; compact head. Wow, this is dank, and also nice tropical juice aroma. Dry mouthfeel, a bit starchy; lots of hops, but a bit more sweetness would be great here.

Poured from 473mL can (stamped 11/05/23). Cloudy yellow with small white head. Citrus hops, mild dankness, feint onion, touch of chalk. Decent.

On tap at Bas-Canada, pours an opaque yellow with a small white head. Aroma is fairly tropical, with some overripe stone fruits, a bit of dankness, and some earthy chalkiness. Flavour is more or less along the same lines, with lots of tropical fruits, overripe stone fruits, and moderate dankness. A bit too much in the overripe character—is that the cryo? Good but this is way overrated.

(473ml can from Luc, thanks!) Pours hazy pale golden with a small white head that leaves good lace. Aroma of mango and fresh perfumed flowers, grapefruit peels, light weed, fresh grass and hints of white bread cereals, mix of juicy and floral vibes really. Flavour is off-dry with just-ripe mangoes and lots of perfumed, lightly bitter flowers leading with accents of grapefruit pith, with a wheat-like subtle malt structure, drying into the finish with dried flowers, lingering mango and citrus oil coupled with low bitterness and a crisp minerality. Light to medium creamy body with fine carbonation. Nice dryish, floral and lightly dank rendering of Mosaic, which is a many-faced hop and one of my faves.

A hazed yellow ipa with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with resinous citrus floral hops, light tropical fruits, pleasant. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with resinous hops, light tropical fruits, pleasant. On tap at brewery.

Crowler: Poured a hazy/cloudy yellow color ale with a medium size foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of hoppy floral undertones of citrus and grapefruit with some tropical notes. Taste is also dominated by hoppy floral undertones notes of citrus, grapefruit and tropical notes with some residual sugar notes. Body is full with good carbonation. Another enjoyable IPA from this fine brewery.
