Tap at Der Pschorr in Munich. Pours gold with a large white head. Mild Nobel hop aroma. Flavor is some and bready. Sort of Kolsch on steroids. Nice on a warm day.

From old tasting notes. Labeled as "Hackerbrau Edelhell". Huge white head tops a brassy gold liquid. Faint sweet malt nose. Zesty tart malt flavor. Citrusy malt finish. Light hop traces. Tasty but uninspiring.

Poured from the tap. Clear golden yellow with minimal white head. Aroma of corn and candied sugar. Taste is more of a corny malt dominant. A bit boring.

13th Dec 2014. On-tap in Hacker-Pschorr, Hamburg: 0.3 litre glass. Light golden body, bright, clean and clear. Mild (OK subtle) taste, no aroma: boring but refreshing. Typical Helles to be honest, not a lot going on!

Clear golden color, big cloudy white creamy head, lots of lace. Very herbal hoppy nose with hints of metal. Light-bodied. Smooth palate. Pale maltyness, some sweetness, herbal hoppyness with short finish. Good drink with greasy Bavarian food.
