No diacetyl like their pilsner had, and it smells fairly hoppy, if a bit on the older, more boiled style. Vegetal, hints of pine, but for some reason not altogether not compelling. Malts are sparse, showing light cracker and biscuit. Maybe not too far off from most mediocre WC IPAs these days. Clean, at least, with only a touch of wort and no oxidation.
Galaxy-like bitterness, though not really much in the way of Galaxy flavor. Some light chalk/earth and a bit of pine, but none of the tropical fruit (or extremely little, if so). There is some diacetyl in the flavor, which seems inherent to the yeast strain, not a canning infection. I kinda love it, and it adds a round butteriness that helps add some mouthfeel. Lingering hop bitterness, an actual malt/oat texture (no thin, seltzer-like flavors) and a good deal of yeast-derived fruitiness. If they can get a bit more fruitiness and expression out of the hop, they'd really have something here. As is, the round, surprisingly deep texture is more than enough to make it highly enjoyable, where so, so many NAs are thin, watery, seltzery stuff.
