Cask at Lebowski’s. Pale gold, thin white head. Light citrus aromas, some cereal. Light bitterness, light sweetness. Thin. Original when it came out, now it seems like most beers you get in British cask pubs are variations on this theme.

Cask at The London Apprentice, London. Pours clear, classic gold with a fine, white foam head. Nose holds lightly toasted straw, mostly. Flavor is light to medium sweet with biscuity malts, nice bitter hay, white sugar, moderate zesty lemon and some dough. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Good condition. Sweet, lightly sticky finish with crisp dough, sugar and hay. Basic but extremely solid and sessionable golden ale.

A great head on this one, not much to comment on in terms of aroma. Taste is distinct but not overbearing (sweet but not overly so, balanced out by bitterness) meaning I could happily have it as a session beer.
