Cask at the Goldhawk, Goldhawk Road, London W6. Golden colour with a thick white head; strong citrus aroma; sharp citrus flavour but supported by a malty sweetness; leaving a clean bitter finish.

Cask @ Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen. Pours a clear pale yellow color with a small white head. Sweet malty fruity citrus aroma. Sweet malty zesty citrus flavor. Fruity citrus finish with a bitter aftertaste.

Cask at the Museum Tavern. Aroma of citrus hop. Copper color with whiteish head. Starts fruity with underlying malt. There is more fruit than just citrus. The malt is ever present, but the fruit tends to dominate. Finished with a very nice bitterness, a long dry bitter finish.

Ligth golden colour with a hoppy nose, quite bitter with serious hints of grapefruit.

Pale golden in colour with only a low level (ring) of foam This is a very well built beer that starts with a delicate hoppy and fresh floral aroma. The flavour is fruity, first you notice the grapefruit and then a good dash of lemon comes through. At the end there is a rounded taste of bitter hops. Easy drinkable and very moreish (Half on gravity in perfect condition at the firste day of The 11th St Albans Beer Festival 27.09.2006).

Cask/gravity at The St Albans Beer Festival 27 Sep 06. Clear golden coloured. A tiny head. Enormous aroma of fruit: Apricot. Refreshing fruity flavour with a bitter and sourish aftertaste with hints of grapefruit.

Cask at Guildford Arms, Edinburgh. this was the the first time I had this beer and it was a complete revelation. I had never had anything that assailed my senses from the get go like this one. I could sit there all afternoon just enjoying the aroma of lemon citrus and floral american hops. The fact it is only 3.8% amazes me that they can get so much flavour into it. I would happily drink this every week 4.8/5.0 Re-rate Cask at Guildford Arms, Edinburgh Nice tea and citrus, but nowhere near the explosion of flavour and aroma when I had this beer here for the first time 5 years ago.

Is Silktork going to be mad at me if I say this is one of my favorites of the fest so far? Maybe it was the fact that this was soooo much better on cask than in bottle, but I don’t know, for whatever reason I really enjoyed it. Light and tingly, but still full of lemon, lemonpeel, grapefruit and pale malt. That little bit of herbal/lemony flavor that is disgustingly overwhelming in bottles is present, but only briefly and it seems to work well with the beer. Medium body for how low gravity it is, not watery. Citric acid all over the place, but still manages to be controlled. Not too sweet. Yum.

The aroma is very light hoppy with notes of grass. TH volor is a dark yellow and it has no head. The flavor is sweet, malty, and hoppy with grassy notes. A fine beer.

Blond color. Nice aroma: hop, light honey, tomato, citrus fruits. Really interesting flavor, herbal, grassy, really bitter, leading to a long final a lot aromatic. Wonderful in the bottle, a must try in the cask. The best beer I tasted at Lausanne Beer Festival!
