Bottle from Borresteijn, thanks! Caramelaroma. Malty caramelly sweet flavor with milk chocolate. Maple syrup. Just a hint of alcohol. Not too much character, I’m afraid.

(Draught at De Prael Proeflokaal, Amsterdam, 23 Feb 2013) Reddish brown colour with foamy, beige head. Malty, fruity nose with red fruit, caramel and orange peel. Malty, fruity taste with notes of caramel, dried fruit, apricot marmalade and a fairly sweet finish with a spicy bitterness. Almost full body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and quite nice.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a hazy reddish with a lacing off-white head. Lovely pruney aroma, loads of overripe fruit. Rich body, again pruney, juicy with some interesting sugars. Luckily no yeast. Some warming alcohol. Excellent! 221012

On tap at De Prael, Amsterdam, Netherlands, Wednesday 3rd October 2012 Dark brown in colour, filmy white head. Soft in mouth, little chewy but in a good way. Nice carbonation, some toffee, cold tea, and a little boozy background flavour. Very easy drinking beer. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.6

Draft. A dark brown beer with a tan head. The aroma has notes of candy sugar and chocolate. The flavor is sweet with notes of chocolate, candy sugar, fruits, yeast, and caramel, leading to dry finish.
