BA Barleywine aged in cognac barrels for a year. Big sugarplum and barrel aroma on an opaque orange-red body. Very malty, surprisingly light bodied with toasty biscuit and fruitcake like notes, some booze but slight. It drinks fairly lightly for a BA beer. Tasty.

A hazed amber Barley Wine with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet caramel malt with vinous notes, light bourbon barrel notes, alcohol warmth, woody notes, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet caramel malt with light vinous notes, treacle, light bourbon barrel notes, alcohol warmth, very nice and complex. On tap at brewery.
